Nicole
Nicole asked Gail Carson Levine:

What do you do if you think your story is trash?

Gail Carson Levine I suggest putting your story aside and not looking at it again for at least two weeks. And reading my blog posts about self-criticism.

More Answered Questions

Kate Willis
Kate Willis asked Gail Carson Levine:

You've mentioned before that you are a pantser. Does this make rewriting harder for you?

Courtney
Courtney asked Gail Carson Levine:

I got the teens at my library to fall in love with "Forgive Me, I Meant to Do It", so much so that we might need to buy more copies. If anyone asks me why I so heavily promoted this little gem, I'll simply tell them to read the title! The title simply sells it so well! How do you come up with titles that fit so well for your works? I see that some are fairly similar to each other, but overall they're varied.

Izzy Evans
Izzy Evans asked Gail Carson Levine:

I was thinking, could you do perhaps a rapunzel story in the Ella Enchanted world? That would be really fun!
