Because Mr. Rix does not speak Hungarian. Clearly Sajto is "newspaper" or "media" and not cheese. The word for cheese is "sajt" in Hungarian. It's close but no banana. I counted over 70 such funny mistranslations. You might want to compare Mr. Rix version to TRAVELER AND THE MOONLIGHT Soon available as an ebook for 99 cents. The language is not as stilted and the tone is not as anti-women. By the way, the original is "TRAVELER" not "JOURNEY." Look up the word "Utas" in a Hungarian-English dictionary.
