So I really love how you manage to connect the beginning and the end of your novels together like Confess. Your probably the first author who uses swearing in a sarcastic way. I really love your work and how creative it can be. However, how do you come up with the plot twists in your novel? For example, in Slammed there were several MAJOR plot twists. I always wondered how does she come up with such plot twists.

Colleen Hoover The plot twists usually come as I write. I've always been the type of person, when watching movies, I try to predict the plot twists. M. Night Shamalan is my favorite director because he has some awesome plot twists. I take this over in my writing and I try to come up with every possible scenario a reader will think of, and then I make sure and do none of those things and try to take it in a completely different direction. The twists usually evolve as I'm writing and get to know the characters. Sometimes I'll think of something toward the end of the book and then I'll jump back to the beginning and tie them together.
