I need to start by saying that I am such a huge fan. I finished Ugly Love a while back and thought "yup, this is it. the best book ever". Then I read November 9 and thought "yup, this is the best book ever". And yesterday, I finished Confess and thought "yup, THIS is the best book ever". So basically, your books are perfection. Anyway, my question is: Out of all the couples you've written, do you have a favorite?

Colleen Hoover That's such a hard question. I really can't answer it. I try to fall in love with what I'm writing and the characters I'm writing, so it's usually whichever couple I'm currently working on that are my favorite two people.

Two of the most important things I've noticed when writing a novel are (1) characters have to be flawed and (2) the story has to be descriptive. Question: (1) how do you write descriptively? What's your thinking process and (2) when is flawed too much? :)
