I can't really say that I ever saw adopting kids in their future.
The conversation was one that seemed natural for them to have, and during their one conversation about kids in the books, both Ty and Zane agreed that the life they were living at the time was not a good one for children to be part of. They both love the lives they lead, and they're not going to be making changes any time soon.
I know for a lot of people, married with kids is the epitome of happily ever after. But Ty and Zane, they're already living their happily ever after with each other. In the years to come for readers who want to imagine what happens, that becomes a realm that's no longer of my making.
In my mind, will they ever adopt children and rock the boat they're happily rowing? Probably not. In the minds of readers who do want to imagine them settling down with 2 kids and a picket fence? It makes perfect sense.

Abigail, I love your books! I can't get enough of the Cut and Run series even though its over. It's Ty and Zane but even more so, the story and action. I am patiently (trying to) awaiting Brick and Mortar. Is there a time frame close that you will be giving us this masterpiece?
