Hi Caelli, Thanks so much for your question. I was drawn to writing about what happens to Amelia (with respect to bullying) precisely because of my fears for my own daughters as they get older. In that respect, I don't know that it was harder to write about than it was to already be worried about. That said, I have found when I go to read portions of the book out loud at events they are even more sad to me now that I am no longer "in" Kate's head. Hope you have a great summer. My question to you is how long did it take you before an agent signed you and were you constantly sending out queries? Thank you so much and I absolutely loved Reconstructing Amelia!

Hello! Given some of the twists and turns in Reconstructing Amelia, it seems like you would have many details of keep straight and probably lots of editing to maintain the storyline's surprises but still leave enough supporting evidence. How do you keep everything straight as you write and re-write?
