My gran has been suffering with Alzheimer’s for years now (she was only around 65 when they finally diagnosed her) and I feel like I want to read this book to try and understand her more - I understand that the women in this story is a fair bit younger but I'd still like to give it a go. Do you think it would be suitable for me to read, as I'm only 15? (Is it easy to follow, do you think it would keep me interested?)

As others have said, definitely. In the Author Interview, she talks about how watching her grandmother go through Alzheimer's inspired her to write this book in the first place.

yes! read it! Exactly what Janet below said. I wish I had read it when my grandmother was still alive. It's all I've thought about since finishing it yesterday.

Yes! I wish I had read this when my father was still alive--I would have better understood his struggles. And yes, I think you'll find it interesting and easy to follow. I found myself reading late into the night--the story draws you in.
