What do you think is the most romantic line(s) you've ever written? I know we will each have our own opinion about this but I'm always interested in hearing an author's opinion of her own work.

That's a really tough question!
Not least because I've written enough books that I've forgotten a lot of those final, romantic scenes.
I would probably turn to the Adrien English books. I think the "fucking worship you" line is a good one--I think that's in Dark Tide? -- and also there are lines in Death of a Pirate King...
And for once I had nothing to say. Jake’s mouth found mine, his lips molding hot and soft to my own. His tongue tentatively tested the seal of my lips; I parted them and he pushed inside. It was startlingly sweet and achingly familiar, like finding harbor. Like I had been waiting decades for this, traveling leagues, Odysseus sailing at long last into the blue crystal waters of Ithaca -- and never considering the trouble ahead.
I think that's some decent writing.

Hi Josh! First I must tell you I admire your work. Your stories fascinate me and keep me thinking over about the characters and the events - it's never dull or unmotivated. Each story line has a couple of underlying layers. My question is - how do you determine the amount of romance in a story? In some stories there is much more romance than in the others ( and I looove it!). Thank you.

A TV series with Jake? OMG! I've missed this discussion (just discovered Jake and Adrien). Can you direct me to where you discuss the possibility? Do we get to vote? Twist producers' arms? Jake is my absolute favorite of all your characters, and I'd love to see him actualized on screen.

Hi,I love your Adrien English Mystery series!!Questions:1.How long would Jake really have waited for Adrien and would Jake really move to another state when they didn't get together when they did?2.Between Adrien and Jake, who would be the one doing the proposing?3.Will there be a possibility of you writing the scene when Jake begged for Adrien's life? Thank you so much and I can't wait to read So This Is Christmas :)
