Apart from Gone Girl, are there any other books similar in storyline and/or dark atmosphere to this one? I'm now advancing toward the middle of the book and really love it.

One book that I read that's similar to Gone …moreFor me, Gone Girl is what got me interested in thrillers, psychological thrillers, suspense, and mystery. One book that I read that's similar to Gone Girl is Girl on the Train by Hawkins. That book was really good. Other books that are just as suspenseful that I've read include Dark Places by Flynn and Sharp Objects, also written by Flynn. Sharp Objects may be my new favorite book.

Some other books I've heard someone would like if he/she liked Gone Girl include The Good Girl by Kubica, Remember Me This Way by Durrant, Reconstructing Amelia by McCreight, and The Silent Wife by Harrison.
