You are talented and skilled at so many things through what I see over here. More over, you have a Doctorate in medicine. Why did you choose to write then?

Well, writing never clashed with my profession. I could chalk out scenes even while driving or lunching, and then I used the night hours to type them out. So time wasn't really a major problem.
Being a confirmed book-addict, I realized over time that reading becomes a passive experience. Input and output of ideas both are needed to complete the loop. Writers are always born out of readers, just like a child gives birth to a mother.
Its cathartic.
As for why specifically Arjun as my topic, well, that came from anger and worship. Anger at the way his status has been corroded over years, and worship of his genuine achievements. Both fuelled me towards the book.

In your book Arjun- Without a Doubt, you did not have to imagine a new story or plot twist. Yet, Arjun couldn't have been an easy book to write. Trying to give new shades to an epic whose colors are already well-embedded in our hearts is not an easy thing. What was the hardest part of developing the story of Arjun? What gave you the courage and inspiration to try such a thing?
