RIPPLE has been in the works since 2007. It's gone through so many revisions! When I first wrote it, it was considered "too edgy" and a "tough sell." But with the current rise in popularity of Contemporary YA and lots of walls being torn down with regard to what is acceptable content for YA readers, it's found its place in the market.
