If you're dead set on a labeled YA retelling, The Wendy Darling series by Colleen Oakes has good world-building and is prettily written, I have some qualms with it, but overall it's good.

I liked Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson, but thought it overrated.

Both Second Star and Everland were excellent retellings.

Another Pan and Brom's Child Thief were both so bad I couldn't finish them.

I'm not sure I'm the right audience for the Jill & Hook Retellings, but the concept is not bad, even though I personally haven't made myself finish it yet. (less)
