Can you please tell me about when you first started writing books? What kind of things where you interested in writing about?

Stuart Gibbs Technically, I started writing books when I was in kindergarten. I wrote stories about animals (mostly dogs and dinosaurs), hoping to get them published way back then. Along the line, I also wrote a few stories about James Bond's son, Jimmy Bond. I only started writing books professionally in 2007. (I did some time as a screenwriter before that.) I'm still writing about animals and spies.
