Writing changes the way you read, watch, speak, and listen. You find that you suddenly have an internal editor who analyses everything you see and hear from movie dialogue to political speeches. Don't fight this. It's a good thing.
4. Accept criticism. We can't fix what we don't know is wrong. An outside opinion is the best way to reveal our blind spots.
