Yes. The Mermaid Murders was originally scheduled for Feb. 1 -- and then I had to ask myself, Have you learned nothing? because I would have had to rush through it and last year was already pretty exhausting. So...I decided to take a little longer and really enjoy the work--and end up with a better book and a healthier author. :-)

First the question. Is the fifth book of the Holmes and Moriarity series going to be the last? Now the request. Please say no! I've read almost all of your books (even though they're a little hard to find here in Brazil) and this particular series had become my all time favorite. The characters, the mysteris, everything is simply perfect. I'd love to have them for many many more books. At least two... or five haha

I've been a fan for a long time (since the good ole days of your LiveJournal blog - that was the absolute best) and so I read the first two books in the Holmes & Moriarity series very close to publication. But I somehow missed that you continued the series several years later. Now I'm not sure where to restart. Is re-reading the first book enough of a refresh or do I need to re-read #1 and #2 before starting on #3?
