Wanda Maynard
Wanda Maynard asked Sarah Noffke:

Do you have a certain routine that you follow every day, or do you just sit down and begin writing?

Sarah Noffke Hello Wanda and thank you for the question. I'm married to a routine. It really helps me to feel secure that I'll write every day. I answer emails and market in the morning. Every afternoon I go to the gym and that's where I write. It's crazy, but I've found that writing on the stationary bike or treadmill really works for me. And I'm committed to making it to the gym everyday, so that means I write everyday. I can knock out around 1500 words most days, sometimes more. Then in the evening I revise what I wrote. That's been my schedule for the last six books and it really works. Before this routine sometimes I found it hard to make time to write, or found I was too distracted or tired for the task. Now I have confidence that I'll get things done.
