Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

J.R. Knight A couple of years a go I had a conversation with a few friends about an article I had read. In this article a man had surgically attached his bank card chip onto his inner wrist, so he could just swipe his wrist at the check out and go. Then the conversation then turned to how in America they had developed a pill that gives you a full 24 hours of alertness. So could take this pill at 6pm on Monday night and not feel tired at all until 6pm Tuesday night.
This really got me thinking about a future where we would be overrun by technology... and the rest is history!
