Goodreads asked J.T. Geissinger:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

J.T. Geissinger I stand up from the computer and go do something else. Inspiration comes and goes, and there's nothing worse (to me) than trying to force it and feeling frustrated when I can't. Writer's block is an entirely mental thing, so I don't let myself get psyched out if the words just aren't coming. They'll be there later, or tomorrow, or next week. Creativity isn't something you have control over. But how much you write is, so I try to write at least 1,000 words every day. It's not all useable, but that's what editing is for!
