Not this story exactly but if you enjoyed this book watch "Memphis Belle" on Amazon Prime. It was made in the 90's but a great movie that this story reminded me a lot of.

I, personally, am glad that this book is not a move as when books are made into movies, especially war books, the makers tend to change lots of things and sometimes just about misinterpret the whole story. This is only my opinion though, but you do have to realize that there are lots of good stories like this that could be brought to the screen.
