Hi! Since I reread/skim your books constantly (thanks for all the stories BTW), I noticed that in theMountain Man series you have Tatum Jackson and one of the secondary characters in Rock Chicks is Jack Tatum...Was this a deliberate choice or something that your brain did and you didn't even notice till after the fact?

Something my brain did...though Jack in RC is not a major character so I wouldn't shy away from his name(s) when another character came to me with similar name(s) :-).
That said, Tate came to me named and in every other way besides. Walk. Talk. Look. History. Personality. So even if I thought of Jack, I'm not sure Tate would have let me adjust his name! :-)
Funnily enough, in that series, Ty Walker came to me as Ty Johnson (probably because he was inspired by Dwayne Johnson's move, FASTER). I REALLY didn't want to change his name because I liked it. But it was too close to Jackson so I couldn't use it. I combed lists of last names, never finding one I liked as much for Ty. Then I was on a list, and Walker jumped out at me. Once it did, I couldn't believe I didn't want to give up Johnson because Walker was so perfect!

When you re-read your books to prepare writing the next in that series how does that feel? Obviously you would be your worst critic but since you have rabid fans awaiting your next greatest are you not self conscious about what you wrote, and just get lost in the world (like us) as if you were reading something by someone else, is it weird, or just feels like home?
