You are my favorite author by far. Are the characters in your books based on people or family members you know? They are so real,just as your towns. Do you get ideas from current events or personal events ?

Robyn Carr The answer is yes and no. I never try to use a living person as the basis for a character, yet I can pick up character traits from several 'real' people and combine those traits to create a new character that way. And yes, I get ideas from both current events and personal events.
