I am reading your new book, where do you get your inspiration? This seems like a well researched book.

Mary Morgan Hi Betty! For this particular story, I incorporated the mythology of Ireland, specifically the Red Branch and the Fianna. My love for Ireland mythology goes deep--growing up with the tales and legends. Of course, my visit to Ireland may have helped with the inspiration, too. I've been there only once, but I wrote in my travel journal and often refer to my notes and pictures. And then there is my love of Scotland. I've traveled there twice. Sat in desolate places in the Highlands. Visited Urquhart. Wandered the land and have spoken to the people. Both places were wells of inspiration. Thanks so much for your question. :)
