And the answer to your question is...I don't know yet. If Jase gets his football scholarship, it heads him in certain directions for college. If Sam follows her mom's laid-out path, it heads her in directions too. But I think they are committed enough to find ways those paths can converge. And I also think Sam's moved beyond listening to her mom over listening to her heart. What do you think?

I'm working on my first novel and I was wondering how many words should I write a day? I'd love to get published by the time I'm in my second year of high school. I'm in eighth grade right now. Is that a realistic goal for editing and finding a publisher?
