Don't be sorry, it's a great question! My next book will be the inevitable piece of shit that cannot live up to The Fish Tales and ultimately disappoints everyone.

No really. Um.... HA! My next book is a mess of scribbles in my notebook which is slowly evolving into some new characters. I'm good at making up characters. That part doesn't scare me. It's giving them a story. I can't take another 20 years to think up the arc. So I'm trying to do this a little more methodically. And set a reasonable goal. Write a novella. A small thing. The next thing.
Not everything has to be a thing.

Good thing - I had forgotten about author Keith Maillard & plans to read more by him. Then, I discovered you are an author. So another good connection. I will put your book on my list to read.
