Imagination is a powerful thing. I usually only spend about 6 hours sleeping and the other 2 hours just lucid dreaming. Vlad was born from a lucid dream, I was researching Prince Vlad Dracul and later I saw a picture of this beautiful man while browsing Pinterest. In my mind, these two ideas merged and that was how I got my male lead.
