I don't know if anyone's asked this already and I don't know if you'll answer, but one thing that always bothered me about the ending of Inkdeath was that we never got to see what happened to Farid. Does he ever come back to visit Meggie or Dustfinger again? Does he become a famous fire-dancer?

Cornelia Funke very famous, Dana. And he'll break the hearts of many girls traveling from village to village. I am currently writing the sequel to the Inkworld-books which is set five years later and will have you meet Farid again too.
