Lisa Yes, Oy was the soul of the book. I cried too. I still laugh at myself about Wizards and Glass when Susan Delgado died. I was listening in the car and starting crying - hard. LOL. I am an adult woman going to my job and BLUBBERING in the car on the LA freeway in traffic. But THAT is what SK used to be able to do. Develop a character so you blubbered when he killed them. We remember Oy from all his adventures through the series and so his death was the end of the innocence.

Pie Pie I cried for Patrick who wanted to bring Oy back and probably didn't understand why Roland stopped him. Roland wanted to save the eraser for a more important task later, and that probably hurt him just as hard as any other.

Charles I cried for worse for Jake, for some reason. And Eddie. And even Roland, at the end. Yes, I cried a bunch in this book.
