What is your most favorite part about writing?

Lurlene McDaniel Good question! But first the negatives of the writing life:
1. Spending hours, days, months sitting at a computer trying to find the best words for a story
2. Spending more time with the people (characters living in my head) than people in my real life
3.Always telling friends, "Sorry, can't meet for lunch, go shopping, or movie b/c I'm behind my deadline."

Now the Positives:
1. The elation when book is finished and sent to editor
2. The Feeling of relief when editor likes and accepts the new book
3. The BEST thing is having readers tweet, email, etc and tell me when they LOVE a certain book
4. (The cherry on the top) When a reader tells me, "I never liked reading until I read yours."

This why I write: To tell a good story that touches readers hearts.
