Goodreads asked Bliss Devlin:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Bliss Devlin For temporary blocks, I can usually get myself unstuck by either going for a long walk, or doing jigsaw puzzles (though the walks are probably better for me!) Doing something fairly mindless keeps my mental editor occupied, and leaves my creative imagination free to wander.

For more serious blocks, that's usually a sign that I've taken the wrong tack with a story. Sometimes it means that I've gotten a character's motivations wrong, and sometimes it's a plot or logic issue that my subconscious has recognized.
