Can anyone tell me the age-appropriateness for this title? I had a student request it for a high school library, and while it is obviously a very powerful read, I am wondering if it may be too mature and/or beyond the scope of our target patronage.

I had to get a second copy for my high school library ~ it is always checked out and being requested by the students.
