Horror for Newbies

Can anyone tell me the age-appropriateness for this title? I had a student request it for a high school library, and while it is obviously a very powerful read, I am wondering if it may be too mature and/or beyond the scope of our target patronage.

But the first day when I read I was so disappointed because they should have written the preferred age like my daughter is 12+ and she listen from her friends. Now I’m going to return this book because I think this book should not be keep in home. In my opinion the book is great but for 21+ can read this. I like the author idea but again it’s not for under 20.(less)
