Can anyone tell me the age-appropriateness for this title? I had a student request it for a high school library, and while it is obviously a very powerful read, I am wondering if it may be too mature and/or beyond the scope of our target patronage.

I had a student request it for a reading prize. I had the parent provide me with their permission before ordering and awarding it to the student.
