Can anyone tell me the age-appropriateness for this title? I had a student request it for a high school library, and while it is obviously a very powerful read, I am wondering if it may be too mature and/or beyond the scope of our target patronage.

There are multiple pictures of nudity, sex, oral sex suggestion, fingering, and the poems are very sexual. Mentioning of moaning, thrusting, sex, being inside, and so on. Milk and Honey is her breast and vaginal juices. There is a poem that shows a hand getting ready to finger someone and there is 'honey' dripping down the fingers and she talks about how they went into and there was no honey.

This book is just twitter thoughts broken up in poetry spacing, filled with a adult erotic Sheldon Silverstein style minimalism, and just enough pretension that certain sheep are going to love it.

Our daughter is 14 and was shocked that the school would encourage students to read it. I shared in publicly and so so so many parents have been upset.(less)
