ARP I believe there was one scene where Therese referred to salt (love) as something which gave life substance but what is the price you pay for that?

As someone else mentioned, Therese says that salt is what gives life meaning. (Like spice of life) Carol´s love for Therese is what changed her life and spiced it up, but both of them had to pay for their love because of the society they live in.
