What was the most difficult aspect of becoming a new writer/author for you to overcome?

Eve Langlais Most difficult part: Finishing the story and mustering the confidence to put it out there. It is very hard to let other people read and judge your writing. There is a constant worry that it sucks, or that people won't understand what you're trying to say. But, I will admit, that when my very first story got accepted by a publisher, the elation was well worth the angst.
