Her sister passed away at the end of 2013. She had stated on Facebook she was working on her new book in May of 2014. Within the last couple years, she appeared in a YouTube video (I didn't actually watch it, because I didn't make the connection until later, but Markiplier mentioned he appeared in a video with her). She moved to Colorado. Another person mentioned she gave a talk earlier this year (seen in the comment section here http://gazettereview.com/2015/07/what...)

You're right. I can't imagine being in her shoes. Heaping THIS on top of Allie's clinical depression? I love her work and even if it's "just a comic" I've connected with what she's shared very strongly (mostly "Identity part 1 and 2".)
... but I can wait for the book. I can wait forever.
