You can read the script of the 2nd season online...you can read what happens after the 1st season's cliffhanger. :)

It starts out like the TV show but doesn't end like it at all. Plus, shouldn't you be asking if Brian survives? ;-) J/K. There were points that both disappointed me compared to the show as well as points that I really liked. It's definitely a worth the read.
