How do you deal with writer’s block?

Lynn Salisbury I don't. If I have a "block" I just realize that it's not the time to move forward. As a self-publishing author I have no deadlines to answer to but my own. If an idea takes time to mature than pushing it could ruin it. I would rather set an idea aside until it's time (and that's when the voices in my head start screaming to be heard) than put words down on paper that aren't ready to be there.
