Dear Jessica: Please forgive me! Somehow I missed this question. I always like to answer promptly and am so grateful to you for reaching out. That's usually a tough question for me -- but not this year! My absolute favorite book of 2015 was A LITTLE LIFE by Hanya Yanigahara. It's just out in paperback. It's a very dark and disturbing book in many ways, about horrific childhood abuse. But I found what it was about on a much deeper level was friendship. In fact, it's one of the most beautiful things about friendship I've ever read.
