It hurts my fingers because I write a lot. And for hours at a time. My writing process makes me afraid of blood clots. And it's all consuming. Sometimes I sit for a few hours and get out a lot of pages at a coffee shop and then I get in the car and almost have an accident and I'm blowing the horn and then it's like oh. Oh!
Now I know how to fix that mess in those pages because I was just ripped out of them completely by this guy making this left hand turn.
And the process is long. I write a lot. I remind myself of that when I haven't been writing and I get worried. Best cure for anxiety about writing is writing.
