Alexis Hall Thank you so much for the kind words. Kate was designed to be one those paranormal series that went on forever (ambitious much, AJH). It goes in sort of ... cycles and the first cycle wraps up in five books. I don't think I could squish it into three, which why there's been some delay in the publication of three. But three is coming. And *cough* hopefully more than that :)

Henry is, indeed, trans. Werewolves are matriarchal, which why Tara is alpha, despite the fact Henry is the Dowager's grandchild. And also why the Dowager hates Tara. And Henry.
