I LOVE your books!!! I recently read Dragon Rider, and Thief Lord. When I found out that there's a sequel coming out to both of those I was exited, but when exactly are they coming out? P.S. I got Inkheart (the movie) for Christmas Exited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (your my favorite author by far!)
Cornelia Funke
Thank you so so much! For the compliments and for traveling with my stories:)
first of all: don't let the movie overwrite the images you see in your head while reading Inkheart! Some things in it are good (Dustfinger for example) but many things are not the way they should be.
as for the sequels:
A Griffin's Feather (the Dragonrider sequel) will be published in Germany in September 2016 and in English in spring 2017 (sadly the translation takes a while)
The Colour of Revenge (the Inkworld sequel) has ten chapters by now and I may publish it in parts which means the first would be out in 2017 too. But let's see!:)
sorry I am not faster. But good books feed on time!:)

Very excited for A Griffin's Feather! I read Dragonrider to my son when he was young. ..we loved it so much, we pursued you other books (the Inkheart trilogy). So thrilled there's so much more to look forward to. My son is an adult now, but I can guarantee he will want A Griffin's Feather! Will you be traveling to the US to do any signings when it releases here in 2016/17?

Hi Cornelia, Where do you get inspiration for creating worlds like the Inkworld? You describe it so vividly! I also just wanted to thank you for your books. Your stories brightened my childhood and I often go back to reread them whenever I need something to liven up my day. I will forever be appreciative of the worlds you create and the inspiration to write that you've given me. Thank you so much, Monica
