Celeste asked Kendare Blake:

Anna Dressed in Blood is told from the perspective of a teenage boy. This is rather rare (most YA books are female-oriented) so I found that really refreshing and appealing. Was there a reason that you told it from a male perspective? Since you are a girl, was it hard to write from his perspective? Thanks :)

Kendare Blake Was not difficult at all. Cas came very naturally. Fully formed inside my head. He was always going to be the storyteller. He's the only one who could tell this one.
