are you ready for the whirlwind travel? June, July & August look like you will either be in a signing or on a plane, how do you manage all the travel?

Deborah Harkness Great question! I don't think you can ever be ready for something like a 28-city tour. There are so many little things that change the experience. What I know for sure is that meeting the readers--sharing in your energy and excitement--is what makes the whole thing not only doable but actually fun! I eat lots of granola bars, drink plenty of water, and try (try...) to get enough sleep but it can be tough to stay on a healthy schedule.

So many of your characters in this trilogy have BIG personalities (esp. forces of nature like Baldwin and Sarah!). I am wondering if it ever got difficult for you to fit so many different voices onto the same page?
