Ian McFarland is such an interesting character! (I'm biased. He's my all time favourite. I picture Kevin McKidd, can you blame me?) Can I ask what inspired him?

Oh, I love Kevin McKidd! Nice! Ian was one of those characters who sort crept into my consciousness bit by bit. I wanted to write a vet (because I love my vet, the real life Dr. Kumar), and I thought a guy who was good with animals might not be so good with humans (unlike Dr. Kumar, who is great with all of us). I also loved the opposites attract thing with Callie and Ian. That scene where they meet in the DMV sets up a lot of their dynamic, don't you think? Thanks, Sara!

I wouldn't be mad if you wrote about the KIDS of manningsport one day.. i mean you might have to do the whole tv thing......."20 years later"..no? :):) I'd love to see how little Levi, Noah, Elizabeth, Isabelle the twins & whoever else i'm forgetting have gotten along in Mannignsport and how they all end up! Say you'll say, YES! :D
