Goodreads asked Z. Allora:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Z. Allora I get away from my computer and take my characters on an outing. I go shopping. What would my character think of doing this activity? How would he react to this food/item of clothing? What would he order on this menu? Does he have allergies? How did his mom/dad deal with his dislike of red food? It teaches me about the character and let's me relax. Usually the story will unfold.
Another way is I take drive. Usually the road will help unwind the next scenes. Though I need to be careful because that's also when my muse delivers me more plot bunnies > and once the bunny hutch is opened I'm SCREWED (in every way I enjoy!) Hugs, Z.
