Is this book ok for preteens? Wanted to give it to my brother, who has read Hunger Games, Maze Runner, etc., but if it's anything close to ASOIAF, it'd probably be a bit inappropriate....

If he's read books like Hunger Games then it's certainly not out of his age range. I'm 47 and I'm really enjoying it. I don't read children's books lol. There are several swear words.
