Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Shari Lambert The idea for Borrowed Magic actually came from the big dystopian craze. I thought how some of those themes could be adapted to a magical world. One of the themes that is prevalent in dystopian is that the world or society isn't what it appears to be. So I started there and then worked backwards, asking why wouldn't a magical world be what it appears? And it just went from there!
