Sometimes when I'm working something out I'll put it aside for awhile and work on something else to clear my brain. Sometimes I'll stew on it for awhile, but you have to keep rolling. I will sometimes skip ahead to get around the problem and come back to the tricky section.
Editor's block is probably a bigger problem for me.
