I read this Sophomore year of high school. I remember it only because I remember thinking how stupid it was we had to read a book about selling chocolate. That's really all i remember about it honestly, my initial bias caused me to not retain much of what i was reading most of the time. With that beind sad, is it suggested that i read it again as an adult, or is it as stupid as i thought it to be ten years ago?

I do not think it is worth your time. The book's first half is just the same thing over and over again. The teachers asks Jerry if he wants to sell chocolates he says no.
Caterpillar
I would recommend it. I personally loved the book although, I admit, the ending was bad
Adam
You clearly missed the point, so yes - read it again.
Benjamin Pierce
Well worth your time.

I loved, and still love "I am the Cheese." I went in to this one with high hopes and I was let down as well. Don't bother.

I second Caterpillar's thoughts, but be forewarned the plot is a private boy's high school with all male characters. Not to say you could not appreciate the plight of a high school boy or easily relate it to that of a girl, but there may be more enticing books in your life you would want to pick-up first

This wasn't the book you pictured more a more civilized 'Lord of the Flies'. Those with power misuse it, those without try to keep their heads down and not get noticed.
I liked the book, it was well written and the story well told but I must agree about the ending. It was written as if a sequel was already being worked on.

I went into it with an open mind, but i also came away disliking the book. I really did not like the ending.
Chelsea
I didn't like it. Not worth the time imo.
